Executive Team

Avectra's executives bring years of experience in technology, associations and management. They're dedicated to delivering innovative association management software that helps associations like yours be competitive, efficient and successful.

RICHARD DAVIS - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Richard Davis joined Avectra in 2010 as chief executive officer, providing strategic direction and day-to-day operational leadership for the company. Davis brings more than 30 years of sales, marketing and operational experience in the technology industry to Avectra. Through his tenure in executive roles at several software companies, Davis gained extensive experience developing strategy, growing revenue, and honing his international experience by managing operations throughout Europe, China, Mexico and Panama.

Davis launched his technology career in London in the 1970s with Fairchild. In 1976, he joined Sanders Associates, moving to New York where he headed up the team that was selected by AVIS for the original Wizard system and by NASDAQ for its terminal.

Joining start-up Lee Data as one of its first employees, Davis participated in its IPO and led its dramatic growth in his role as vice president of sales. At Applix, Inc. as executive vice president of operations, he was instrumental in its growth in the real time trading floor market and in the company's highly successful IPO. He joined Rand McNally and Company as president, leading its move to the Internet and other major initiatives. Following Rand McNally, Davis joined VenturCom/Ardence as chairman and CEO, where he was responsible for international growth, entry into desktop virtualization and the subsequent acquisition by Citrix. Most recently Davis served as president and CEO for Ultimus, Inc.

Davis currently serves on the board of directors for the Boston area non-profit From the Top, which showcases America's best young musicians, as well as AccuRev, Inc., a software change and configuration management (SCCM) solution provider.

CRAIG DELLORSO - VICE PRESIDENT, ENTERPRISE SALES

Craig is responsible for the growth and profitability of Avectra's Enterprise Division. This includes the sale, implementation and support of the netFORUM Enterprise AMS, MemberFuse Social Platform and all other products and services for enterprise level clients. Dellorso joined Avectra in 2006 as Vice President, Consulting Services, and was promoted to his current role in 2010.

Craig previously held Sales leadership roles as General Manager for start-up mindSHIFT Technologies, where he drove sales growth for mindSHIFT's newly launched Managed Services offering to the SMB market, and Professional Services firms System One Technical and MBA Management.

Before joining Avectra, Dellorso served as Chief Information Officer for the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), where he spearheaded the rapid growth of the association's revenues through the use of technology.

Craig completed his undergraduate studies at the United States Naval Academy and received his MBA from Marymount University.

PATRICK DORSEY - VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING

Patrick is responsible for worldwide marketing, including demand generation, product marketing and corporate communications. In addition, he is responsible for expanding marketing's role as a driver for Avectra's continued growth in both new and existing market segments.

Most recently, Patrick was netFORUM Team and Pro's director of sales. Previously, he played a lead role in launching Avectra's initial SaaS product, netFORUM OnDemand. In addition to helping build the initial customer base, he was responsible for many of netFORUM OnDemand's internal operations including marketing, services and support. Prior to joining Avectra, Patrick was at Siebel Systems where he managed go-to market initiatives to support the domestic re-launch and international roll-out of Siebel's CRM OnDemand product.

Patrick has authored several articles in leading industry publications on on-demand association management solutions and has spoken at numerous industry tradeshows and conferences.

Patrick is a graduate of Hamilton College.

RUSS ODOM - CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Russ brings more than 17 years of finance and accounting experience to his role at Avectra, in which he oversees the company's finance, accounting and administrative operations. Russ has a track record of successfully managing the accounting and finance operations for growth-oriented technology companies.

Most recently, he was the vice president of finance for Vovici, a leader in enterprise feedback management software. Russ began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young.

Russ is a graduate of the University of Maryland and an active member of the AICPA and MACPA.

DON PRODEHL - VICE PRESIDENT, RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Don leads the technology team and manages the direction and strategy for all of Avectra's products. With more than 19 years of experience providing technical solutions to the association industry, Don has planned and implemented e-business, e-Commerce and Internet strategies for more than 200 associations and has participated in more than 100 system implementations.

Prior to joining Avectra, Don was the vice president of technology and product management at CVENT, an Internet-based application service provider specializing in electronic marketing, online event management and business intelligence. His background includes executive positions at association management system vendors and SMITHBUCKLIN, the largest U.S. association management firm for trade associations, professional societies and corporations.

Don completed his undergraduate studies at Augustana College and earned an MBA from the Keller School of Management.

STERLING RAPHAEL - PRESIDENT, AVECTRA LABS

Sterling Raphael is president of AvectraLabs, Avectra's innovation think-tank. In this role, Sterling is responsible for driving product strategy and international expansion.

With a deep entrepreneurial background, Sterling was founder of NFi Studios, acquired by Avectra in 2010. NFi was known as an innovator in web technology for associations and events around the world, bringing online communities to member-based organizations.

Prior to founding NFi Studios, Sterling directed the creation of interactive applications for organizations including Disney, the Orlando Magic, the Pittsburgh Steelers and many more.

Sterling is a featured speaker at ASAE and MPI events. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Central Florida.

JOHN WARNER - VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & OPERATIONS

John leads the sales engineering and proposal development teams for netFORUM Enterprise. Prior to Avectra, John worked for an association technology vendor and served in all areas of the company including sales, marketing and project implementation. John's background also includes work with Thomas Havey, where he served as the director of consulting and assisted non-profit clients with internal control reviews and strategic plan development, and KPMG, where he specialized in the non-profit sector.

He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

MARK YOHAI - VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Mark is responsible for developing and supporting channels for Avectra's Social CRM solutions across all industries, worldwide. He brings more than 20 years of executive experience with leading edge software providers in sales, business development, and channels - including extensive international experience in Europe (where he lived and worked for 5 years), Asia, and Latin America.

Mark joined Avectra after leading worldwide sales and business development for AppZero, a virtualization software vendor - where he established initial partnerships and revenues for a new product line. Before AppZero, Mark built and led the enterprise sales organization at Ardence, where he and his team drove 100%+ annual revenue growth from 2003-2006 - leading to the company's 2007 acquisition by Citrix Systems. At Citrix, he established and grew relationships with global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) including NEC, Fujitsu-Siemens and Intel.

Mark has held key executive, sales and technical positions at leading technology companies including, Cisco Systems, Applix, and Informix.
